Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Wow! To everything!

Trying to match my nail polish to my Tahitian pearls today. This was my very first strand of Tahitian pearls from Kojima Pearl.

Happy Thanksgiving! Taking Dad to my brother's house for Thanksgiving. All I have to cook is "show up."

Planet Berna Tahitian pendant and Bali earrings from Kamoka Pearl. Longer Tahitian bubble ombre' necklace from Kojima Pearl. TNT (Tahitians and tourmalines) circled pearls necklace from Ocean's Cove on Etsy.

Handwoven Zanshiori shawl in Tencel yarn. Zanshiori means "mistake weaving" in Japanese, because you're not supposed to weave with knots in the yarn. However, I take the loom waste (the yard long threads that cannot be woven at the end of a project) and tie them all together and use them as weft (the side to side threads) on a different warp (the up and down threads).

Really pretty festive colors, BWeaves! And love your Wicked-themed combos, PearlyLibrarian!

A long strand of Tahitians from an Intergem show, a Tahitian pendant from Kojima worn on a Tahitian keshi chain I wrapped, and a bracelet I put together with collected Rikitea T’s.

My favorite Black Friday tradition is a long walk while listening to a podcast. To kick off the Christmas season, I brought my “Christmas” ring. From TeHotu Mana, the pearls are vivid pistachio green and a cherry undertone (although I couldn’t quite get this captured in the picture). They look like little Christmas baubles.

That rope is so versatile. I've seen that clasp in Rene Newman's books, but not in real life.
Do tell me more please! Specifically for Mikimoto? Bc I was having a tough time trying to find info on the clasp. I was so worried the original owner had it restrung and changed clasp, or it wasn’t a true Mimi strand. Then I found the EXACT same necklace on therealreal selling for $4250. I had high hopes. And when I received them today I rushed to get my loop. And there it was, the markings!

You see…The seller stated in the listing the clasp had no markings. I just think they couldn’t find it.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving! Today it’s my restrung vintage necklace, silver & topaz earrings and a silver & button pearl ring. I had to adjust the picture a bunch because I just can’t get a great picture, but it’s now a fair representation of what it actually looks like.
