Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Pretty pieces, BWeaves!

Teeny keshi with sapphire briolettes from House of Keshi/Pearl Exporting Co., worn long and doubled. And a purple Japan Kasumi pearl from Kojima held in a net pendant from Takahashi. I wire wrapped the chain with teeny Akoya keshi from Takahashi.

Today it’s thrifted Tahitian 10 mm studs and a mystery necklace. The pearls are 6.5 mm to 7.5 mm and look just like tiny Tahitians on a silver chain. Passes the tooth test and no hallmarks. Drill holes look good, the discoloration around the one in the photo is just scratches from the chain, is dark nacre inside. But they’re so small! Just really good dyed CFW? They look like something Maui Divers or Misha Hawaii would make. Thrifted for $10 so no clue where they’re from. Fun to wear, perfect for today!

I love everything!!!!

Jeans and a ripped T-shirt today, worn with my 2019 All Josh Tahitian Harvest necklace from Kamoka. And I'm trying a new earring combo. The Queen freshwater pendant from Kojima on one earring, and a carved Tahitian pendant from Kamoka on the other earring. These pendants are a little heavy for earrings, but I can wear them for a few hours.

Love the pearls with the t-shirt! I’m over here in an old flannel shirt

Thrifted keishi earrings, they’re soooo satiny but the cups have FW etched on them so I’m thinking freshwater, with my necklace from repurposed thrifted pearls and gold. It’s shocking what people donate, my best find is still diamond earrings in 14k for 50 cents a few weeks ago. If they don’t want it, I’ll give it a good home! I need to find better lighting for pictures because they don’t do these justice

Thanks so much, Pella! It’s something different for sure. I haven’t tried twisting it yet- maybe that will be the next look…

Mary-Contrary, all your thrift finds are very fun. It’s so great to find pearls to use for remakes.

BWeaves, I love those strands!

SS keshi necklace from Takahashi, tiny Akoya earrings also from Takahashi/PP live event, and large Myanmar SS pearls from Druzy.

WOWZA, JEG! I love the contrast of the small keshi with the big SS pearls.

Today I'm wearing the pearls voted "Most likely to be worn with jeans and a T-shirt." Coral Atoll necklace and Bali earrings from Kamoka. Circled Tahitians with a big easy hook clasp. The shape of the earring hooks also are easy to put in and they don't work their way out like some hook shapes.

Yes, the small ones are freshwater pearls!

Thanks BWeaves! Love your circle T’s, too. Nice and colorful!

Wow, Pearlgully, those keshi are quite substantial, and at 20 year old prices they would be such a steal now. Beautiful!

I purchased two temp strands of top quality golden Akoya keshi at the House of Keshi/Pearl Exporting Co. I made one long rope, but it ended up being longer than what I would usually wear. I do like the extra length doubled, snd it wraps nicely as a bracelet, so I’ll probably leave it like this.
Worn with a strand of golden Akoya from Takahashi, and little h earrings.

This thread is dreamy as always dear pearl friends!!!! @Pearl Dreams and @Pearlgully those south sea pearls are out of this world stunning!

@jeg oh jeg I doubted there would be something you could add to your pearl collection to make it even dreamier but I see that there is unlimited pearl gorgeousness out there! The goldens glow glow glow and those briolette keshis are so cute! Wow!

@BWeaves Everything is beautiful as always but that tourmaline and golden keshi necklace!!! Perfection! My wishlist just got updated...

@Mary-Contrary Your remakes are so pretty and fun! How lucky you are to have found such lovely pearls to play with!

I also got lucky and found a pre-loved keshis strand (that works well with my keshis from Pearlescence) for a steal so my ban island status isnt really compromised ;-)

My rainbow leather necklace got a bit of un update too as this is the time of year I usually wear it the most.

Wishing everyone lovely days and thank you all for posting !
