Dear pearl friends! Sooo much has happened here since my last visit! So many gorgeous gorgeous pearls and pairings! Too many to comment on individually let me just quickly say this:

@86Corvettegirl Your new Fiji strand is TDF!!!! Absolute gorgeousness!!!! I am also a big fan of the Duchess’s necklace but yours is definitely my new favorite! You must be totally overjoyed!!! Stunning!

@jeg Every picture you publish would merit a separate glowing paragraph but let me just say “the scattered keshi chain????” Perfection! I love how versatile you make it, it is so cute and flirty and fun! And all your pearls are amazing as always of course! Those Collins keshis? Sigh....

I have had some time to play with my strands lately and I made some pearly exchanges between them, to add a few tahitian goldens to the Bliss strand as it seemed it missed a bit of that color punch in its palette... So the Love strand is shorter now ( 20 inches instead of 22), the Smallish T strand is missing the golden color but looks more balanced to me this way and well the Bliss is pretty blissful in its latest reincarnation...Unfortunately as I was knotting and changing it thrice in three days my last knotting as an endless strand was not too perfect but this is it (for 2022 anyway

@jeg The anklets looks terrific; I was hoping one of my necklaces would work doubled as you suggested, but no length luck - glad to have an excuse to buy a few more pearls for that project though, haha. Your mixed keshi necklace and ombre SS strand were particular "standouts" this week from your amazing collection. Always love that Takahashi basket pendant, too!

Eolian, I’m so happy to see you back, and all your remakes are so fantastic! I just love colorful Tahitians. Ahhh, same to you, SurfnSci. That Kamoka strand is so gorgeous, as well as the Robert Wan keshi.

Thanks so much for all the compliments. I went back in my photos to find some pics of the keshi chains. Back in 2017, I made at least a dozen of these wire wrapped keshi chains. Some scattered, some evenly patterned, with every type of keshi I could find. Lots of Tahitian chains in different lengths, and some freshwater, Myanmar golden SS, and Biwa. I also forgot that I used to wear some of them doubled. Haven’t done that in a long time. Posting some old pics-

We’ve been off celebrating the 50th at Disney World! Heading home tomorrow…

Bunny has been hanging out with a bunch of characters all week. Chip n Dale are favorites!

This cupcake pic was a disaster! First, the delicate chocolate ears got smashed into the cupcake when they put it in the take out container. Then, it was so warm out, the ears were melting as I tried to pull them out of the frosting. Then, they were so delicate they broke in a couple places. Then, bunny kept getting her paw in the frosting!!! EEEKKKK…

The holiday gingerbread displays are slowly going up. Here’s the carousel at the Beach Club. I haven’t been here for several years. We used to go to either Disneyland or Disney World every year for years. It’s soooo crowded now.

Promise to get back to pearl pics when I return home…
