Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOO! BBBA arrived! Big Blue Baroque Akoya ring from Takahashi. It was a PP Live back in April, and Takahashi was going to resize it for me, since I need a size 9. It's amazing. The luster, the orient, the SIZE. And it's comfortable. I love it.

I'm deciding on the Sea of Cortez pearls. Not all of them have arrived yet. I bought way too much under the influence of jet lag. Usually I hesitate too long, but I was quick on the draw that night.

The top mabe' was private collection, and the bottom two mabe's were natural mabe's. I'm keeping the bottom two, and I may set them together like this as an enhancer.

Top pearl is the private collection, National Selection drop. It's gorgeous. The bottom two were less expensive baroques. All are gorgeous, but the top drop blows the two baroques out of the water, if you'll pardon the pun. Bottom right is really blue. Bottom left is very pink. Top drop has rainbow colors all over it when you twirl it.

Just waiting on the SoC keshi to arrive to see if I want to mix them with any of the other pearls in a tin-cup.
Your ring is gorgeous 😍

And this just arrived. Too stinking cute. South Sea pearl ring. Gold plated silver with CZ accent and an adjustable shank. From SeaBeautyShop on Etsy. Not every pearl purchase has to be "little black dress" ready. Sometimes you need "jeans and a T-shirt" pearls. Takahashi probably would have made these in a higher quality and solid gold, but these were too cute, and they fit my big fingers.

I went from a really expensive BBBA ring to a CHEEP CHEEP ring in about 10 minutes.
