Pearl supplier Raw Pearls is set to host a spring seminar at Holts Academy of Jewellery in London, offering retailers and Holts students a better understanding of pearl types.

The seminar, which will take place in the afternoon of April 3, aims to dispel the mysteries surrounding pearls.
Raw Pearls said: "Good product knowledge helps your sales staff sell their product well. Retailers often express a sense of mystery regarding pearls, leading to a lack of confidence when buying".
Raw Pearls and Holts Academy have put together the seminar which will provide an overview of pearls for those working within the jewellery industry, covering fake, cultured and natural pearls, different types of cultured pearls, a behind-the-scenes photo tour of a pearl farm and how price is determined. The session will also cover current trends and a look at "what's hot" in pearl jewellery.
Anyone interested in booking a place should contact Holts Academy.
