Price too good to be true , but look anyway

The shape is typical for low quality FW, a step below the potato shape (not that it can't be appealing but no akoya ever had that shape). Also the colour is not one you would ever see with any undyed pearls. Add to that the price difference if you compare to akoya pearls sold by some of the vendors here.

Since Akoyas don't seem to exist in the Philippine market, I've never seen one, but I have seen low quality south sea pearls in similar shapes.

Anyway, I'm no longer in the market for gSSPs, but I was intrigued by the vendor's claims.
