I love the pendant. Personally, I'm not a fan of oxidized silver. But I do mix metals a lot. Either a silver or gold chain. Or use one of those J-enhancers that allow you to hang a pendant off a pearl necklace.

I think soldering high carat gold is waaaaaaaaaaay easier than lower carat gold or silver. There are many vendors of Indian (eastern not Native American) that sell 22k gold chains, that sell online.

Thank you! Yes, I really wanted it to have this "unearthened" ancient handmade look. The high carat allows for this.

It's beautiful-- it actually looks like Egyptian pieces.

A golden silk and yarn on felt patch.

Today is the day, I'd like to share my one to rule them all: Willow creek jasper mirror slices, SoC mabe, Fiji keshi, mint tourmaline:



I collected the pearls&gemstones dreaming about my initial inspiration, designed after looking at lots and lots of pendants and brooches, especially Sasa Blackoff's gorgeous work - and was lucky enough to get her to fabricate it.
Love love love how it came out (and so hard to capture all those colours)!
