I had an email today and clicking along various links ended up at the Saul Bell Design Awards ! Saul Bell started Rio Grande which is now owned by the Hathaway group. Each year the have a prestigious competition and the winners are truly astonishing. Check out these photos .... these earrings are amazing! The workmanship and imagination in all of the metal work is just remarkable

Never mind the design, the craftsmanship is of the highest standards. Shows that the long line of master craftsmen all the way back from the ancients in Egypt etc is not broken in these days of computers, casting machines, CAD and 3D printers.
