My tahitian pearls

Freshly restrung with Beaders secret in forest. This morning I noticed that the knots on my favorite strand, the rikitea strand from Cees , looked a bit frayed. Not much, just not as neat as they usually are. I do use it several times a week and haven't restrung it in months so it was probably time to restring it anyway. Usually I use navy, but I wanted to try forest for a while. I used them with my mismatched tahitian studs from Oceanscove as soon as they were done.

I recently bought a tahitian strand from Wen Pearls. Being rather dark. I didn't like it on it's own and combined some of the best pearls with some white south sea pearls from Pearlescence and created an almost black and white strand about 18inches.

Thank you Katbran, both navy and forest works really great with my rikitea strand. Probably the other ones as well. I like the very dark tahitians better like this.

Thank you Gemandpearllover, over the summer I used the ombre strand mostly with my lighter mismatched tahitian studs. The aubergine once are great for fall.

My favorite tahitian enhancer I think you have seen a lot of. It's so very practical to add it to a smaller pearlstrand or to one of those nifty clasp I often use. It's a huge, 17,8 x 15,3mm, circled pearl with wonderful colors it. I bought it last year from Pearlsociety.

I recently combined three of my favorite strands to a rope about 54 inches long. My blue tahitian strand from Pearlescence linked with my silver tahitian strand from Cees and my white south sea strand also from Cees. The blue pendant in one of the photos are my new blue baroque south sea pendant that I just bought from Pearlescence.

Gorgeous! Which way do you tend to wear it when it's one long strand? I suppose you can just move it around your neck and change the position of the colours as it suits you in the moment.

Cricketbug, I have to admit, my strands move a lot during the day. Mostly I wear this as a double rope, with one lenght sorter and sometimes with my tahitian enhancer as well.

Your thread reminds me I really need to contact Cees! Fantastic collection!

lary007, do share your pearls with us when you do contact Cees and get some amazing pearls.

This gorgeous peacock circled pendant I bought from Druzydesign last year. Usually I wear this one with my peacock tahitian studs from Pearlescence.

I also bought this tahitian keshistrand from Druzydesign at the same time as the peacock pendant last year. It's really tiny, 3,5-5mm, and about 18 inches long. It's great as a small strand for pendants and enhancer and of course for layering. There is one vivid turquoise pearl in it.

A very useful little strand. I am thinking about making a longer version one day.

I also have this green banded tahitian enhancer from who knows... I don't remember really. Maybe Pearlsociety, years ago. I do know that I didn't pay much and that I didn't like the original finding. I then changed it to yellow gold, didn't like that either and finally to a silver enhancer. The poor pearl, I hardly ever photograph it either, usually the photos makes it look black. It has a beautiful luster and very pretty dark green colors in real life.
