My rainbow strand!

Katbran, I don't know how I can do better than the rainbow strand for next Hongkong show. I february Wendy found my blue tahitian strand and then she did so well with the rainbow strand that I wouldn't exchange a single pearl in it. What to do for the february show next year? I don't know yet.

I have rainbow earrings! Wendy found me a pair of colorshifting edisons that she turned into huggies for me. I love those huggies and have already converted a pair of satiny south seas and a pair of dark tahitians so that I can use them with my huggies. She really find me the most incredible pearls.

The white south seas and a paw.

The dark tahitians. This pair was one of the first tahitian earrings I bought, before discovering all the colors tahitians can have. They are sort of browny purple.

My new colorchanging edisons huggies from Pearlescence are perfect with my rainbow strand. The rainbow strand looks great with most earrings but I really wanted to have some special earrings from such an amazing strand. These drops shift in all of the strands colors, but mostly they look purple. I didn't have any purple earrings before. I don't know why, it's a gorgeous color.

I can't get enough of that rainbow strand. It goes with everything.

Thank you Pattye, it's odd that the bead nucleated freshwaters can get more intense colors. Wendy only used tahitians, south seas and edisons in my rainbow strand and the drops are also edisons and they are very colorful. I bought a lavender strand years ago from Pearllunar I think. Before you could get bead nucleated ones, it was lavender with a lot of blue in it. Very pretty but not as colorful as the pearls I can get today. My daughter has that strand now.

love your rainbow strand and its matching earrings. Can't get enough of them!

Thank you Pareltje. I have worn the combination today and I really do love my new golden studs. They are very comfortable on the ears even though they are 11,2 mm, so rather big.

I had to take some new photos of my rainbow strand as well, with my new deep golden south sea studs from Pearlescence and with my new colorchanging edisons huggies from Pearlescence as well.

I made sort of an enhancer, but not really to go with my rainbow strand, and most of my other pearls as well. It's a wormlike thing that I can attatch to my clasps, it's half a clasp accually, so that it hangs down on my back. I had an purple edison and some bluish akoyas, Both kinds from Pearlescence, that I had arranged in a row when I was arranging the sunset rope. I didn't use those ones but they looked nice together. So after I made the sunset rope and the goldeny rope I knotted this little worm. I ended the bluish akoyas with some gimp. I could have wirewrapped the last pearl as well and I still might. It was fun making.

And to my blue akoyas and dark tahitian strand. This one looks wierd, but it looks great on, rather grafic.

Now I am thinking that I want a blue akoya and purple edison strand/rope...

The edison huggies that I bought from Pearlescence have so many colors in them. Some I can capture, but not all. They sometimes have all the rainbow colors in them.

It's just the prettiest strand.

And it is possible to turn into a rope. Here with my new deep golden south sea strand from Cees.

I do have a new project, mostly in my mind at the moment. It's not the all the shades of golden south sea pearls strand made of slightly circled drops that I have asked Wendy to help me find. I want to make a rainbow enhancer. With a welo opal. I have ordered some small ones to see if I do like opals in real life. I have been looking at a bigger one. There are those that reminds me of watercolors. When I do find an opal that I like I have to have a goldsmith to make a setting for it. I know a good swedish goldsmith that remade my fathers wedding band into a pendant for my mother. Than maybe it would be cool with colorful gemstones around it or something. It is likely to take a while since I want to find the small gemstones myself. I also don't want it to be made of yellow gold. I really like silver and it's really durable as well. I show you the opals once they arrive.

I can't get enough of that rainbow strand.

Love "the worm!"

I have new mismatched green tahitian studs from OceanRhyme on etsy that goes so well with my rainbow strand. I have some gorgeous green and blue green pearls in the rainbow strand and these studs go perfectly with them.
