A Friend’s Mystery Strands

Hi, all. I’m sorry I don’t have better pictures but these two photos are of a friend’s necklaces. She says they are real pearls. Would you please help me identify them? The multi-color strand was purchased from a jeweler in New Orleans about 20 years ago. The necklace on brown leather or other fiber was purchased around the same time in Florence, Italy. Thank you.

2nd photo: Also FW from China. A few with tails look like earlier 2nd harvest pearls.
