I have been collecting pearls. I want to show them off, they're from blue mussels found by the ocean.

Hi! So nice to see these little guys again. We have a member who used to put up photos of the ones she found. Hers were from Canada, kind of northern area, I think.

Please tell us a little more about your interesting hobby and how you came to it! You are one of about 10 (wild guess) people who collect those, in the world, today.

Hi Maha,

Are you interested in selling any of your little guys? I would love to add some to my new natural pearl collection. I'd love to go collect them off the beach myself but Nova Scotia's a little ways away.

is it the blue mussel ?

I've been collecting my pearls for 3 years now. I store them days of the week pill containers and write the month in the year on them.

This is how it all started. I love shellfish, so me and the kids with clam diging. we found more muscles than clams. so we took some home and cook them up. you could not even eat them their was so many pearls in them. So I don't cook them anymore I just collect them.
