My pearls

Charlotta, I think that’s the most beautiful ombre strand I’ve seen. Congratulations!

Thank you Marianne and Parrot Lady. Parrot Lady, I am still stunned by this strand, so beautiful. Cees is amazing.

Some neckshots as promised. Morning indoors fluffy sweater...measured it, it's 36inch knotted.

Some more photos. Can't stop staring at all those colors. And the luster. The quality is outstanding, any one of the pearls could have been gorgeous studs.

Thank you Marianne, I know, I still can't believe that I have a rope this incredible. I'm so happy with it.

Yesterday I took some new photos on my blue pearls. They are all from Wendy at Pearlescence.

The clasp on the triples I had for years, an auction find on ebay.

Also took some photos of the dyed akoya strand from Wendy, I think that this is the only dyed piece I have, really lovely autumn colors. I am thinking about incorporating some other pearls with autumncolors like orange and gold. But not done thinking about it yet. It's very pretty as it is now to. I can't see any traces of dye on them. I looked really close...

One more...gorgeous pile of tahitians. Didn't want to get green curry on them....

Beautiful ombre strand Charlotta!!! You are going to have a blast every time you wear this strand!

A few years ago, I purchased some similar clasps and over time, the connection got weak and my pearls fell off my neck one day, so please check the fold over part every time you wear the pearls. I put a safety chain on one of my strands I didn't want to restring, which is another way to be safe. As a matter of fact, I like to add safety chains to all clasps that don't have a secondary locking mechanism. There's not much I hate more than losing favorite pieces of jewelry.

Cees just has incredible pearls. I'm just like you - can't stop staring at the one I got from him, and I love love love wearing it (I need to post an update now that I have it knotted!!) Yours is absolutely gorgeous!

Charlotta all your pearl necklaces are gorgeous, just gorgeous, but you Tahitian rope necklace is in a league of its own. Stunning!!

Thank you amti, Jesskat and Gemandpearllover. Thank you Amti for the advice. I wouldn't want to loose this strand. I checked all of the clasps and tightened the ones that seemed a bit loose in the joint(?). They are quite tough to open. I will probably change the clasp on this strand however, Lugana is designing a special clasp for me. I might use it on this strand if they look good together. I might see if I can make a safely chain for it.
I really would like to see your strand from Cees knotted, Jesskat.

Today I knotted the tiny rose lavender freshwaters from Pearllunar, I think they are about 3-4mm. Previously I had them on wire. I don't like wire, but today I found out that the smallest Beaders secret tread could double back through those tiny drillholes. I think that it's about 18-19 inches now.

The klonks are loose again. I will string them with Beaders secret in rose tonight.

Nice colors in them. Unless they are in the sun. They look dreadful in sunlight. The klonks(13-15mm) are from Kongspearl.

Might use the tiny once for layering with a pendant.

I'm not much for bracelets and rings, since I often bang them against things. But I recently found that I could easily wrap my peachy keshistrand 4 times around my arm and wear as a bracelet. I never use this as a necklace. It's pretty, but my skintone looks better in tahitians and cooler colors. Also silver looks better than gold, even though my golden south seas looks fine. Might wear it more as a bracelet.

I recently wirewrapped a bunch of drop tahitians and made charms out of them. Here they are on my Thomas Sabo charm bracelet. Might not were quite so many...

That rope is truly beautiful ! And your dyed pearls... I have to say they are gorgeous . I'm not a fan of dyed but I have bought a few bits and pieces from time to time as the colour was too good to pass up. When they are well done they are really pretty ! Like yours ! And the charm bracelet... well...it's charming ! Very cute !!

Thank you Katbran. I generally stay away from dyed pearls as well but these are really beautiful.
