My First Baroque Akoya Strand

For those who haven't seen how Pteria Sterna fluoresce, they glow bright pink under uv black light. The other pearls in the photo are Tahitians and freshwater.

These stories remind me of when I went into a shoe store wearing brand new brown suede shoes and the shoe salesman recommended I buy a "new pair of shoes" because mine were "old and worn". Nice.
