eBay find of the day

Wow, I totally forgot all about that necklace. I want to know what happened too!!

Would anyone like my grandma's strand for free to do as you please? :D

A photo of the strand can be found in "My Collection" thread or in one of my photo albums :)

If it turns out to be naturals, then all I would ask is for a 10% donation to be made to a charity of my choice (a cancer related charity) :)

Hi DK,

I vote that they be sent to Caitlin! If they turn out to be naturals, they wouldn't be in a better natural pearl enthusiasts hands. Also, she does a lot of work here at P-G. So it would be fitting, I think.

My guess is that they are akoya, from the roundness. Naturals are much less likely to have the more perfect roundness of that strand. However, if gently washed using pearl-guide approved cleaning methods and restrung, they would no doubt be very pretty!

I'll contact Caitlin as advised, thanks :)
