Any books or Websites on Vintage Japanese pearl Jewelry names and/or marks?

I checked my copy of Pearls by Elisabeth Strack (itis back in stock at the GIA store: https://store.gia.edu/collections/books-charts/products/pearls-by-elisabeth-strack).
While there are 69 pages on Japanese cultured saltwater pearls, there are only a few paragraphs on the post WWII era, and I don't see the kind of commercial /industry information you seem to be looking for. I can't think of any other source; maybe @jshepherd knows if there is any?

I found something about Sakata A quote "I know Sakata. I lived in Japan 1971 to 1975. Navy. Sakata Pearls were highyly recommended by a Japanese friend so I went up to Tokyo-met with company representative and they designed my necklace/bracelet with me. Choker (4 strand) and bracelet so I could extend the length of the necklace beyond the choker-when I wanted. They are beautiful. Sakata registered them for me. I came across your posting because today I am trying to organize my jewelery for my will. I wanted to get an idea of the value." Anyone have a logo for Sakata?

Fuji Pearl...I don't know much about them. They were around early with K. Mikimoto. They started using a trademark in 1948, Registered it in 1959. So previous to '59 they had a different clasp. It was renewed in 1979. But it isn't clear when they stopped operating.

Thanks...(Not my photos). I thought it would be helpful when people ask for Pearl Maker ID for their inherited pearls. to have them all in 1 place. If you have any to add, please do! (I just read somewhere..that there was a disaster or economic downturn that caused many Japanese pearl jewelry companies to go out of business in the 50's & again in the 80's) So it would be nice to have a record of these, since Google does NOT help.

Another mark: there are two hallmarks on it, but that could make sense. The one on the left in your first image is an old Mitsukoshi mark. The character is "koshi" and it was their "maru ni koshi" mark, which really just means koshi inside a circle.
The second mark looks like an MP which is probably Mori Pearl. They sell (or at least sold) pearls through Mitsukoshi. (From Jeremy)

This is perhaps too late for the original poster. However, trademarks and patents need to be registered to be protected under law. I suspect that requirement applies in Japan too and that there is a Japanese trademark/patent database available on the web.
I started this thread because I found out that sometimes the big names in pearls changed their logo/trademarks. Mikimoto had his logo very early on...pre-WWII. Some others seemed late for marking their pearl clasps, post WWII. A number of them borrowed the Mikimoto clam shell, with their own letter inside. I can't keep all the marks in my mind and I want to look back on them.
