Akoya pearls? or not?

Hello.

These are advertised as Akoya pearls but I don't think they are Akoyas? I am not an expert by any means but I think I see a little blip on the side of the pearls --for example, the two that are to the right of the clasp. There are ohters w/ this "blip" (some of the pearls on top of the clasp).

Thoughts? The vendor has great feedback but...

He hedges his bets in his description, calling them both akoya and freshwater-- and his length is wrong-- and that clasp is not quite like other ones of that brand that I've seen-- but I'd say yes, they are akoyas, just a bit baroque.

Thank you! You found the eBay listing! It is all over the place - I get that you might not know what kind of pearls BUT you definitely know the length so why is 18 in even listed??? While it's not that much money, you just don't know what you're getting - haha. I'm going to pass, although the pearls do look pretty nice.
