A question : how this pearl's material is called, if not nacre? I believe to know it has the sames components, but aragonite crystals are organised like a radial structure, in reverse of concentric aragonite layers of standart nacre, is it right?

Some would not call these pearls because they do not have iridescent nacre. They are more porcelaneous in nature. Nacre grows in different patterns. Gastropod nacre grows first in columns, then platelets grow across to fill in the open space between columns.

They are mostly calcium carbonate. Very different and not so different!
