365 Days of Pearls

Day 304:

Orange and purple ripple pearls from Kojima Pearl, Keshi dangles also from Kojima Pearl.

Full disclosure: I didn’t actually wear this today. The sweater is cashmere and way too hot for this time of year. I wore it about a month ago, loved it with these pearls but ran out of time that day to photograph it. So here it is!

Always love your pearls and your outfits, baby nurse

You look fabulous, as usual! I thought you’d headed to the down unders to be needing the sweater.

Love the Kojima ripples with your sweater. Perfect choice accessorizing with those colors & the keshi earrings! Wonderful look!!

Thank you, Happy Huku, Germandpearlover, lisa c, and 86CG!

Lisa c, I could not wait to get that sweater off! I was melting lol.

Day 303:

Cream and coral layers today.

Tiny coral necklace purchased preloved, coral and gold chain necklace with abalone pendant from Kojima Pearl, cream metallic rope from Pearl Paradise, long color graduated Keshi rope from Kojima Pearl, freshadama studs from Pearl Paradise.

Initially I wore the color graduated Keshi rope long. It’s “only” a bit over 50” but because the Keshi are so tiny, it hangs very low. The dress is also quite long so proportion-wise it looked really nice.

Then I decided to double the Keshi rope to change the look.

Love, love, LOVE your creative layering for this day, bn! Well, for every day, really.

Day 302:

Chunky topaz and seed pearl-lined soufflé earrings from little h.

I recently got an iPhone X and while detail seems to be sharper, all pics seem to have a grey cast. I’m really bummed over it. So color seems to be most accurate in the photo where I’m wearing the earrings. The others are just dark. I wish there was something I could do about it.

Can you use your old phone just for photos? I use an old cell phone to take good pearl photos because it's much better than the two phones that followed it. And I'm about to switch to a third. I stopped buying high-end phones because the cost is too high, but they do wear out or break.

I hope so, Octavia’s Mom! I wasn’t sure I’d be able to continue doing that once that cell phone is no longer working as a phone. I know it will still have internet access so maybe that means I can continue taking pics with it and forwarding them to my email.

It’s been years since I’ve had a new phone. I assumed each new version of iPhone was an improvement on the one before but wow, the pictures are awful. Had I known,I would have looked at something else. I think Galaxy may have a great camera.

Thank you, Waps!

It’s so good to have PG up and running again!

Day 301:

Purple Tahitian necklace and earrings from Pearl Paradise (using my old iPhone).
