Help me pick

It's morning now, I'd go look at them pearls today again and decide. :)

Return policies of the online vendors who are members of Pearl-Guide.com tend to be generous; they realize people will feel more confident buying pearls sight unseen if they know they can return or exchange them if the pearls do not suit them for whatever reason.

Hi BluePawprint,

I think it is a wise choice NOT TO RETURN the larger Freshwaters for smaller Freshadamas or "Elite" as they are called at Amanda?s.

I am certain once you have seen the pearls around your neck and then having the smaller ones around it, would give you a feeling of disappointment because you have not taken into account how you will feel...

In the beginning I also bought mostly rather small pearls (up to 8 mm) but the look of a larger pearlnecklace has its own joy.

I am quite certain that you are going to buy Freshadamas later on, if you can?t afford the larger, you always have the option of the smaller ones until you are able to invest in a larger size and the smaller ones are so affordable and for now I don?t think there is a risk of them being out of stock, so you have all the time you need but still you already have a nice, large CFWP-necklace.

For the Tahitians you saw that several of our members would gladly take them, if they could. Photos of pearls always look a little bit different from the real pearls. With time and experience you will be able to imagine quite correctly what they will look like even before you buy them.:)

The strands are just gorgeous. Like some of the others, my favourite are those Tahitians - magnificent!! Lucky you! Also, I am a slightly "larger pearl" fan - the FW's are beautiful just as they are!

Pearldreams: You perhaps are not talking of my strand? In that case please take a look at it on "Show us" and comment on it, thanks...

Jerin, could you paste a link to it? I can't seem to find your Tahitian thread. Would love to take a look! :)

Bluepawprint:

scroll down and there you have two links. In both of them my Tahitians can be seen, in the one Hanaleimon has linked, 3 of my Tahitians are pictured, in the second link there are only my "Big Greys". Hope you enjoy the pictures, thanks Cathy for the help.:)

jerin, hanaleimom,
thanks for the link, am viewing the pics now! So many gorgeous strands! :)

Hi Bluepawprint,

beautiful strands, seen closely, the larger pearls exhibit quite the same nice luster as the smaller Akoyas!:)

Hi Bluepawprint
The FW are beautiful ...........nice luster. also love your tahitians. You made very good choices.
Enjoy them both!

Robin

Hi Bluepawprint,

these blemishes are s.c. pin holes, they come quite natural, it is nothing that happened while matching or stringing the pearls. With luck no one will notice.

:) that's good news!

haha...if i see a little girl wearing a single tahitian pearl, i will know she's yours!

Thanks jerin...
sorry, what are s.c. pinholes?

A pin hole in this case looks like a needle with a pinhead, if you push it into something soft you get the same markings as the Tahitian shows. S.c. = so called...:)
