New graduated white Edison strand!

From that blog post I did inquire about the Vietnamese BBAs, and I ended up with rope of those that I absolutely adore (wearing them as we speak), so I can't really complain that these Edisons went to a better home. But NEXT time, they're mine.

Surely this is what the Chinese have been aiming at all along: round, bead nucleated, thick-nacred and and large, to compete with SSP.
I also think we're going to be seeing more and more of these as time goes on. Something worth saving for.

BabyNurse stunning pearls and they look gorgeous on you, especially when you paired it with the blue shirt. Thank you for sharing it with everyone.

That is an amazing strand!!! They look like perfect pearls with gorgeous colors! Congratulations on the beauty!!!

Just Wow! That necklace looks gorgeous on you, BN. I don't think you have to worry about overwhelming us with pics, lol -- bring it on.

I keep coming back to this strand BabyNurse...it is gorgeous...and I'm kicking myself that I missed it. I have a multicolor large, 12-15mm Edison strand (PP mother's day sale a couple of years ago). I love that one, but I really think I could use a strand of LARGE white pearls!

baby nurse -- these pearls are so special and so cutting edge. This strand couldn't have found a better or more appreciative neck.

May you have many decades of joy wearing a modern classic.

Mwah!

BabyNurse your new Edisons are just exquisite and look lovely on you. Enjoy your new beauties.

Wow! These are gorgeous! Love love love the shine and size. And they are so round! Now I want one too!

Stunning, a perfect match of pearls and wearer!
Thank you for sharing.

I had contemplated this strand when they were first mentioned on PP, but thought they were too big for me. They look amazing on you. Perfect size, perfect length. They are gorgeous.

I really like very graduated strands in the 17-18" length. They look more real to me than strands with big pearls all the same size. I hope that make sense. Also, I think they would be lighter on the neck, and more comfortable behind the neck.

If something like this comes back up on PP, I'm definitely going to have to splurge on a necklace.

Graduated strands are very classic looking and I do think they have the benefit of being lighter on the neck.

JerseyPearl - these 2 strands came along with Sheri's Screamer white metallic pearls - it was posted on their blog and sold to ladies who inquired, but don't think they ever made it onto the PP site.

BWeaves - like you, I very much was tempted by these 2 strands, but I already have my small WSSP plus my mom has a larger WSSP which will eventually end up in my pearl stash. So I just couldn't pull the trigger given the WSSP and the white Edisons are pretty comparable. I occasionally still kick myself for letting them go.

BabyNurse - lol we are all very attached to our pearls. I name (a good number of) my pearls and take "storybook" pictures for them! See the OctoBabies picture adventures and playdates!

Purranha, I did see the pictures you're referring to-- loved them!

There were a lot of special pearls in that blog post. The blues and screamers were incredible !

And I think the Edisons are going to just keep getting better.

Baby Nurse, wow, very special pearls indeed; you do them justice with your coloring!

Thank you, Pattye!

Interestingly enough, I had bought another strand of whites that were stunning in my hands... but fell flat on my neck. I hated returning them, but how do you justify keeping pearls that are only gorgeous in their box?

I bought the Edisons instead and the rest is history:eek:

I've been thinking the same thing, Pearl Dreams. They're going to be amazing and I can hardly wait!
