Birthday shopping trip turns into CHAT 3/26 at PP

When a girl gets to be older than dirt...the only thing that helps is a pearl hunt with friends :) I have no clue what is new in the vault and am anxious to see all the new pearls from the spring shopping trip. At Jeremy's suggestion we'll do a chat so you can join me on my adventure. Tune in around around 1PM but check the PP blog for the details.
 
Are you pulling items out of the vault for people to see if we ask for a particular item?
 
I'll be at work, but I'm hoping it will be recorded. I love your shopping trips. You have fabulous taste.
 
What ever you want to see Fuzzy we will show. Do you have a list yet?
 
I'm hoping it will be recorded too. I love watching these, but am at work so tend to miss them when they are live.
 
It turns out we may just take a bunch of photos this time. Scott and Angela are under the gun for another project (our bi-annual editorial review is next week) so they've requested we don't do a full-scale chat again this time.

I promise to invite Cynde back again (and again, and again) though ;)

Lots of pictures ;) I have a couple of ideas of what I am looking for but it could always change when I see all of the new HK pearls. Wish it was ruckus time so you all could be there too.

Oh what a day I had and I am a very, very happy girl. Only took a very few pictures because I was to busy chatting with Jeremy and Hisano. 20150327_143551.jpg
The top Tahitian strand below the white freshwater strand is my "fat sisters" from the last summer. The middle 4 strands will be all mixed up to make a double nested tahitian rope. The botton 4 went back into the box and that was very, very hard for me to do. The light Tahitians are really, really wonderful. Lots to choose from right now. There are some silver strands that are TDF.
 
Next up are the baroque white akoyas. I did not take a specific picture of them which is a shame because that is what I really wanted to see. I do not usually reach for akoyas but these are far and above anything I have ever seen before. I took my metallic drop with the blossom setting to see if they would match in color and shine. They are silver white with a soap bubble effect of beautiful intense pink overtone. One of those strands had to come home with me too. The bottom lower left. 20150327_143719.jpg Along the chain is a new round Tahitian tin cup what will have a couple of diamond flower circle accents. I brought along 3 pendents thinking that if i could just add pearls to them i might actually wear them. So you can see the work in progress.
