Blaire I remember when you first showed me those beauties and one of them had to be mine. It still brings a smile to my face and I wear it often.11-23-10b edit.jpg

Does anyone has experiences of how fragile these hollow Souffle pearls are in a strand?

Cees I can't speak for a strand but I can say my souffle pearl enhancer above is typically worn on a 36 inch chain. It has been knocked around because it hangs a few inches above the waist. Is it fragile? Not in the least. It is the pearl that is almost touching Blaire's upper finger nail. It has been worn for almost 5 years now and looks as good today as it did in the original picture.

With the new format, larger photos are fine. Portrait mode makes them look bigger.

Jack says he played up the smelly part. Only some of them are smelly and it cleans up nicely. :)

I'll get back to souffles in a minute -- but I just want to stop to admire Newberry's fireball necklace. A necklace of clean metallic fireballs is on my wishlist.

Cees -- souffles in a strand are not fragile in the least. The nacre is super thick. I have a double strand that I twist and they are still perfect. I have a "super strand" which is a pale metallic silver/lavender and isn't delicate at all. The souffles in my longer tin cups do bump against tables/desks occassionally and they are fine, too. I wholeheartedly recommend souffle pearls. I adore them.

Oh, I even have a souffle ring that I wear as an elementary school teacher and it gets bumped and washed with soap and dish-washing liquid constantly, and is still perfect after a year! (I figured I'd rather wear and enjoy and replace it than leave it in a box. No need to replace yet!)

Now, some souffle pictures!

I love seeing pictures of souffles - little pillows of nacre! newberry - I have always been in awe of your fireball necklace and souffle enhancer and the bigger pictures makes it even better!

Thanks everyone :) I should also say that the fireball necklace (and smaller pink pearl in the enhancer) comes from Pearl Paradise in 2009 and the soufle enhancer was created by Jeremy.
