Folks... thanks so much. I'm tearing up at my computer, here, seeing all your kind messages. We were lucky in that he was able to be at home, surrounded by his family. All 4 of us kids were there, and my stepmother, whom he adored.

Fighting a bug of some kind (no surprise) and will probably lay low for a bit. But I deeply appreciate the welcome you've given me.
