Vintage pearls with vintage brooches/pins

As I have been enjoying learning about pearls and ones that I like...I found that I love brooches as pendant/clasps. These aren't perfect...I need to figure out a little better catch system. Have you ever tried this and any thoughts or ideas to make this easier or better?
Blue Akoyas with blue akoya silver brooch (needs restringing & removal of 1 damaged pearl.

I have been wanting to wear this Wow Akoya brooch...so stuck it with coin pearls...The toggle isn't the best...but I do like the look.

The last one.. freshwater greys (could use a cleaning) and Akoya grapes. The Akoyas have lovely luster & colors! This one was easy with the old fishhook clasp. So ideas for easier on & off or hiding clasps?

There is actually a gadget called a brooch to pendant converter. It has a loop, and a slot to hold the pin back. There are different styles and designs, but it's out there.

COOOOL! I love a fancy clasp, and this is a great way to use a brooch. (Goes off to google brooch to pendant converter.)

I have 3 brooch to pendant converters.... (1 long, 2 short. The long one is really important for long brooches or the whole thing just wobbles.) but you need to use a chain. This still uses the brooch and the mechanism. I will try to pop in the back photos in a couple of days.
