This necklace and bracelet set was purchased online. I seen it listed as GLASS FAUX PEARL SET. $11.99 + $6.59 shipping. I looked at the photos and immediately hit BUY IT NOW. It arrived and sure enough they were real pearls. The clasps however, were unsigned and regular base metal. But the pearls were freezing to the touch, heavy and reall gritty against the tooth. Each one had a different overtone of some type of peacock. I listed the necklace but used the photos from the original listing just stating only the necklace was available. Almost immediately I received an offer for $500. I messaged them and said that the clasp was not solid gold.. blah blah blah. They said, "I know...i read the description..how fast can you ship? I said also I'm pretty sure they are dyed.. he says can you ship today? I said sure.. i accepted, he paid i shipped. I felt so guilty splitting up the set i ended up shipping him the Ensemble. When he received it he messaged me and thanked me. A week later i received an envelope with a check for $500 from the same buyer and a thank you note. WTF. My mind is still blown to this day!! What was so special about these pearls? I still wonder if i made a huge profit OR SELL SOMETHING PRICELESS??
