Thank you for sharing these gorgeous strands katbran. I love the clasp, it is substantial and looked easy to use as well.

Thank you Kelluvpearls and hanadama! That clasp is one that Wendy uses at Pearlescence . I originally ordered it from her and then ended up getting them in HK . It's a nice clasp, those pearls are all really large and the rope is long..like 42 inches.. so it needed something substantial.

Hanadama- I'll search out the other photo of my favourite one - that one went to NC and I kept hoping she would change her mind about it lol I wanted to keep it :)

Oooooh I love the tri-color strand! The shapes, colors and the clasp - a true beauty!

Thanks pkinnew ! Very kind of you ! I'll dig out the photo of the other tri colour. While I'm not overly fond of the Gold SS pearls as I just can't wear them .. colour doesn't suit me at all.. I do quite like the lighter and mid tones in the Tri colour mix. Add that little pop of colour- ! I think it's a very fresh combo.

Katbran, I've been dreaming of a harvest strand and yours are very nice! What kind of bead is that next to the clasp? I have a clasp I like but the pearls don't seem to like it much (the rod inside is probably too close to the exterior) and it would be nice to find a way to use it. Thank you!

That is a rondel that I used just for the reason you mentioned. This clasp has two crossed bars inside that you work around and they are much too close to the end of the clasp. I talked to the company about it and said that the design made it difficult to get the pearl to sit snuggled right up to the clasp..the crossed bars push it out. They said that they understood but that this was the easiest way to make them and so they wouldn't be changing it.
I did cut the top bar out on one such design and it made a difference to the fit as the remaining bar sat just that bit lower. If you can find a small button shape you might try that...something flatter would sit better... you can't use either a rounded or pointy end.
