Hi newbie here, I just want to share what I bought online if its a real SSP? Im from the Philippines and its my first time to purchase a Pearl since I just started loving the beauty of the SSP. It was set on Micron Setting but planning to have reset it in 14k gold Please enlighten me with your insights. Thanks

I couldn't tell much either. Not sure if they are FWP or SSP.
The dark yellow ones, even if SSP, could be color enhanced with dye (dark gold SSP are considerably more valuable than lighter gold or yellow colors.)

Hi Pattye! Thanks for the engagement..Here's the photo against a white tissue paper of white and golden. Meanwhile the light champagne was still on ship so I will attach the photo of it as soon as it arrives.

Thank you for the additional photos. I see a few light blemishes typical of freshwater pearls. I agree with Pearl Dream's analysis. The dark gold may be dyed. Are you pleased with how the earrings look on you? The backings are a good design to keep the earrings from drooping. The white and champagne pearls have a satiny luster associated with south sea pearls and freshwater pearls can also have this look. That the posts aren't karat gold would indicate the earrings are more likely freshwater, and bring the price down.
If you are happy with the earrings, just wear and enjoy, knowing they are "real" pearls.

Thanks Pattye and Pearl Dream for the insights..Really appreciated your time. Yes its not set in gold since its much expensive if they set in 14k or 18k. I preferred to have it reset myself in 14k gold since I have old jewelry scraps for a much sturdier settings. Will share some photos as soon as its done.

I'm not familiar with Micron Setting either.
I had to look it up -- "Each piece is crafted by electroplating a base metal—often sterling silver—with a precise layer of real gold, measured in microns."
