Pearl grading in France and Belgium - any recommended labs/experts?

Hi

I have just read "The Pearl Book - the definitive buying guide" by Antoinette Matlins.

There are a few laboratories issuing pearl reports listed at the end of the book, but nothing in France and Belgium.

Could anyone recommend a lab in these countries?

I just stubled upon the website of the "Laboratoire Fran?ais de Gemmologie" (French Gemological Laboratory) and came back to post the address:

It seems to be the same thing. I still cannot find anything in Belgium though...

Hi FX,

I recommend checking with the chamber of commerce. If they do not know of a gem testing lab in Belgium, France is really not all THAT far away.
