Can you help me identify and possibly evaluate my pearls? My pearl necklace is 32" with 8.5-9 mm pearls of yellowish cream color, moderate blemishes and medium luster. I have attached a photo that I hope may help. Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

Try again with a white paper towel as a background. Also, indirect light would help us to see more detail - and if you can give us a closeup of a few pearls, that would also help. Welcome to Pearl Guide! :)

Welcome to Pearl Guide! Are what about tooth test on your pearls?

Don't look too yellow. Great length & mm pearls!

I know freshwater are much more numerous now but don;t think so in the mid 1900's.
I am no pearl expert but they could be the average old akoya cultured which many had a creamy ivory/ beige hue with a medium luster which may have always been like that or just degraded over time with exposure.
