Hi!

I am looking for a supplier of Akoya pearl's still inside oyster. I read there is some fraud out there, and I want to avoid that. Cost is a concern. It is for a fundraising event.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I don't think there is one. They are all seeded with Chinese freshwater pearls these days, as far as I know, often sold as "Wish Pearls".

The oyster is cut and a pearl is inserted in the flesh - they don't use a cultured oyster, which would have more than one pearl. Good Luck with your event.
