Gift from dad

I was given is beautiful set as a gift from my father. It was given to him by a military friend after his wife passed. No one knows anything about them. Can you please help? What kind, where from, how old, how much??

Can you post photos please? Please photograph them against a white background (paper towel is fine), in focus, and no flash.

See if the clasp has anything stamped on it-- 14K, 585, 925, etc.

If there are any notable blemishes, a close up of those would help.

Also, rub 2 of the pearls gently against each other. Real pearls feel a bit gritty, while imitation pearls glide smoothly.
