Before and After / 2019 All Josh Harvest strand

Before and After of my 2019 All Josh Tahitian Pearl Harvest strand from Kamoka. Josh cultured all these pearls, because they're all rounder than the normal harvest necklaces that Kamoka makes. The flower clasp is very pretty, but the mechanism is small and fiddly, and I can't feel my left arm or hand right now, so that made it extra challenging to work the clasp. Celeste told me that Pattye strung my necklace originally, and our most excellent Pattye agreed to restring it and find me a new clasp. I am super pleased with the results. I was willing to go more expensive on the clasp, but we ended up with 24K gold plated over sterling silver, and big and hammered, and I love it. Very easy to work. It added about an inch to the length, but I'm OK with that. This necklace will now get a lot more wear. I'm wearing it with Kamoka black and white studs.

Lovely, but my goodness, what did I miss? What happened to the sensation in your left arm/hand?

Apparently 40 years of Tech Neck have given me arthritis and bone spurs in my neck and it's pinching the C8 nerve which controls feeling and strength in my left arm and hand. Thank goodness I'm right handed.

I'm doing PT, and that's helping a lot. They call it Physical Therapy, but I've also been doing PT = Pearl Therapy, and THAT's been doing a lot more for my mood.
