Are these saltwater Tahitian Pearls?

I’m a newbie pearl necklace owner. These have some weight. Do they look like they are real or are they freshwater dyed or worse, fake? Any input would be greatly appreciated in advance. Thank you!

They are dyed freshwater pearls from China. They are real pearls, just not Tahiitians.

I would say yes, but the surface quality is low.

Yes, those are low quality...too many defects. They may not end up pleasing you.
