365 Days of Pearls

I just looked through 20 something pages and drooled over every strand! Such an amazing collection of beautiful pearls!!!

The bunnies bought smiles to my face too. The green bunny reminds me of the Ty bunny trio. There was a green, blue and a pink bunny. I gave my daughter the pink bunny when she had to have an MRI before removal of her adenoids when she was three. I had her look at the bunny and stay still. She got the bunny after the procedure and loved on it for a few years. When I was little, I loved on a stuffed chimpanzee doll. It resurfaced years ago and I thought it was hideous and a bit scary. :D

Day 317:

Double freshwater screamer strand from Pearl Paradise and seed pearl-lined soufflé dangles from little h jewelry.

Agreed! I can’t even imagine the process of placing each tiny pearl inside the already small soufflé pearls.

Now that's a showstopping look ... LOVELY and so creative ... not to mention rare :)

Those screamers! They were super limited, right? Something like 6 strands only?

OMG be still my heart what beautiful strands and earring combination......WOW totally drooling here ;)

Those are absolutely gorgeous pearls. I can't believe they are freshwater! And Little H earrings...I would like to see some of her creations in person. So intricate!

Love how the seed pearls are repeated in the polka dots in your dress. Classic look with a modern twist due to the earrings. Very nice pairing.

They all scream together, both the screamers and the little h earrings. Very drool worthy.

Thank you, Pareltje and pattye!

Day 318:

Mother of pearl necklace and Tahitian dangles. These are yesterday’s pearls. I worked hard on my first restringing project  and really felt like wearing something light and simple.

AHHH, I've been away for more than a week and suffering from a lack of pearl photos!!! I love this necklace, BN. It reminds me of one similar to jeg's that she wore at ruckus. ..so pretty!

I'm still kicking myself that I sent back the screamers. But, I love those earrings from littleh.

It is from the same vendor jeg got hers from (thank you, jeg!)!

That’s too bad, BWeaves!! I hope you eventually find a nice round one just like it.

The earrings are indeed amazing : )

Day 319:

I just completed my first restringing project! These are ripple pearls purchased from Pearl Paradise a few years ago. I knotted them last year but the gaps between pearls were so big I was embarrassed to share them! They look much better now though there’s still an ugly gap between a couple of pearls toward the clasp. I overestimated the amount of thread I needed to knot the last 4 pearls and had extra length left over. I knotted the strand yet again and the gap is smaller now, though still there. Oh well, I’m enjoying the stringing and practice makes perfect, right?

This is the spot where I had extra thread and an ugly gap.

So I redid the necklace and the gap is smaller but still there. I can live with this for now!
