What’s my Grandfathers Clam Pearl Worth

Oh my Gosh. I found this baby cherrystone clam inside one and this concept is just incredible, I’m hoping to find a whiter shell but what do you think, does it look nice? Edit: added a pic of the shell flipped the other way I like it!

Definitely better than the pearl alone. Does the top of the locket press down on the pearl to keep pearl and shell in place?

It just screws on and I have some foam and felt under it to make up for the extra space it presses against the glass

That is freaking adorable. It really draws attention to the pearl and the little shell lets you know what it is. Much better than mounting the pearl in a ring or a pendant. Wow! It also protects the pearl from bumps and knocks. Win win!
