Hi Fluffipants, These look like imitation pearls to me. I would defenetly take them back. For this price you could get fantastic quality freshwater pearls from on-line vendor. Check out the on-line vendors who post here in the forum. I have bought a freshwater pearl necklace from Pearl Paradise...

I use only this thread. Tried some others but nothing comes close in strenght/easyness of using. If there only was a little thinner option available. The knots are too big for stringing small size pearls. Maria

Oooh! This is one really great idea! I think quite many man who would not want to hear anything about man necklaces (pearl on cord/leather etc) would consider wearing tie rings. Great idea! Maria
