Show Us Your Pearls In Action!!!

Visiting Dad today. Blue baroque akoya pearl ring from Takahashi Pearl in Japan. Tahitian pearl ring from Kamoka pearl farm. Blue baroque akoya pearl choker from Pearl Paradise. Long tin cup of white and golden South Sea pearls with blue baroque akoya keshi and freshwater pearls from Kojima Pearl. Dyed freshwater drops worn on my own earring hoops. Pearl drops from Kojima Pearl. The camera is not picking up how soap-bubbly the blue akoyas are. Lots of pink and green overtones, with intense blue base color. They look rather grey in the photos.

Oh, you only wore the RESTRAINED rings today... Really love that necklace!

Both akoya necklaces are the same length. I normally like my pearl necklaces to nest inside each other, but I kinda like this crisscross look. 9mm baroque akoya pearls from Pearl Paradise. 6mm Blue Lagoon akoya pearls (Mikimoto's less quality brand, which is still high quality) from my Aunt Love. 9mm Hanadama earrings from Pearl Paradise. It's interesting to see the different colors of "pinking" in each set of pearls.

A very high/low look for todays Costco run with the toddler.

HIGH luster Kasumi studs from last years livestream (sorry Berna, you were waitlisted for these!) and a LOW luster triple strand of freshies from JcPenneys found in the far reaches of moms jewelry stash. Fun! The Kasumi studs can be twirled on the ear to show off either pink or green flashes.

Acp-pearls: WOWZA, those Kasumi studs are amazing. Wear them well and often!!!

I was surprised to discover at a RUCKUS that turquoise set in gold looks amazing with white or blue pearls. I can't remember who was wearing ropes of turquoise, gold and pearls, but I remember thinking, WOWZA! I would have thought they'd clash, but I love them together. Hubei turquoise earrings from OceanRhyme. Natural color freshwater pearl pendant from Kojima Pearl. Natural color, blue baroque akoya pearl, dangle necklace from Takahashi Pearl and Pearl Paradise.

I recently added magnet clasps to all my fiddly spring ring and lobster clasps. A big Thank You to Merrily, for turning me on to these particular clasps. They attach sideways and have a lip around them, so they are more secure than the magnet clasps that butt heads together. These magnet clasps make it much easier for me to wear my more dainty necklaces and pendants.

What a cool necklace! Is it half pearl and half chain? That is a terrific way to style it. And love the pearls in your hair!
Yes. The necklace no longer fit around my fat neck 😂. I extended it with the pearls about 18” to double loop it.
