Trying to figure out my pearls’ colors

Hello! I am new to this site (got recommended by Reddit) and recently received some Tahitian pearl earrings as a gift. I’m trying to figure out what colors my pearls have. I know that they definitely look shinier and lighter in color than they photograph because in person they almost look like they’re made of silver.
Any and all help would be amazing! Thank you all so very much!

To me they seem to have gray body color. Try photographing them in diffuse light (shade outdoors or farther away from windows indoors); you may be able to bring out the overtones.

Thank you for the tip! I actually got what I think is the best bet by going outside while it was cloudy. It’s so neat that they look silver while inside and colorful while outside!

It's looking like it has peacock overtones-- greenish with a pink center.

I was going to suggest rainy day images -- there's something about the soft light, and maybe the humidity.
