September Pearl Paradise Tahitians

Thanks, newberry, for the photos and information about the white color. They sound remarkable!

Hi everone
I'm new here although I'm not so new in the pearl world because I've been a pearl addict for years.
I'd like to thank Newberry for posting the latest baby Tahitian strands from PP. I did ask Erin if she had dark body colored baby Tahitians but she said the babies were all light colored. But I managed to nab a "toddler" Tahitian strand, silver body color with gold overtones. Curious what it looks like IRL

Pareltje - that strand is gorgeous!! The gold overtone on silver is stunning.

I'd been umming and ahhing over the strands all day. Decided the white babies weren't for me but finally made up my mind to purchase a strand of silver babies. The second I made up my mind my favourite strand disappeared from the site! I guess it wasn't meant to be! : (

Thank you Hanadama for your sweet compliment :eek:
I saw the strand on the website and grabbed it without giving a second thought. I thought, I've never seen anything like this before so it must be special. I did a thorough research for rare colors first.
I think you should get the babies, they are rare and I thought I saw the slightly darker ones.
Post the picture once you get it. :)

I think Pattye has a rather large white Kamoka Tahitian. I hope she posts a picture of it :)

Newberry's pictures made me drool. Unfortunately we are in Prague, so when PP offered the babies it was about 8 hours later here.. At the airport, I was finally able to place a rather haphazard order of many different strands unthought out because our flight was announced. I was able to choose two strands of silver, only one blue although I wanted two and some whites. Just hoping I chose well biut choose I did. I am hoping to make or connect strands.

Oh how beautiful!!!!! I love the warmth of the gold overtone on the silver body. Please post pictures when they arrive.

I can't find them on the site!!! Can someone please add the link? I would love to own a pair, Thanks!

I received my first strand of the baby Tahitians that I ordered from PP. This strand is made up silver-blue of ovals that are 8-10mm. The luster on these babies is incredibly sharp. I had actually wanted two strands so I could link them together and make a rope, but only one was available Please, don't laugh, but these are my first strand of small of pearls. I live in Texas, after all, where every thing is big! I actually love them, and think I won't hesitate to wear them often especially casually during the day. I added a small soufflé pearl enhancer.

Luvglitz, those are stunning ... the luster is incredible!

To me they still look big. I love this strand too. *sigh* So many beautiful strands.

Fedex just arrived with the rest of my baby Tahitians! I have put two strands of silver oval strands together to make a rope. Size is 8-10mm. Again incredible luster. In rereading the description of the choker I posted previously, they are supposed to be white/ blue. However, they appear silver/blue. I feel like a real pearl queen with all the strands I am wearing, however they are really comfortable because of the size.
