New graduated white Edison strand!

Here are some pictures of the white pearls.

These are all pearls from Pearl Paradise, along with a recently purchased white souffle ring from little h.

I'm wearing a purple top which is reflected in the pearls.

Wonderful photos!

Would you say the new graduated Edison strand has green undertones? It looks that way on my monitor. This is what my metallic white fwp strand is like, if I'm reading the color correctly.

Thank you!

Yes, it does have green. I think it might be more obvious in pictures but it's definitely there irl, too.

Great comparison shots of your lovely white pearls, Baby Nurse ... pretty, AND very helpful ... THANKS!

Lol there were only 6 strands of Sheri's Screamers and you have half of them here!
I grabbed 1 strand and love it a lot and I usually pair it with Emily Thorne (my golden ombre rope).
I know Sheri has a strand herself, but not sure if it is part of the 6 strand.
I wonder who got the remaining 1 (or 2) strand!

So looks like the Screamers and the Baroque Akoyas have quite comparable sharpness of luster. Would you say that's the case IRL? I love the souffle btw - it is sooo shiny!

I was SO lucky with the screamers. I ordered the double strand and when I got it, was stunned by how metallic and lustrous they were. I regretted not getting a third for a triple. So I called to see if they had any left but by then they were sold out. I waited, and called (and called) and eventually someone returned a strand. I could not believe my luck! I'm thrilled with these strands:eek:

The baroque akoyas are like soap bubbles. Very lustrous and iridescent but irl Sheri's screamers have sharper luster.

Lol, mystery solved! The single strand does indeed have off-rounds in it so no doubt it's the one BWeaves had : )

Baby Nurse: Thank you for the beautiful photos. I love comparison shots. Having actually seen one of these strands in person really helps me decide what I want to buy in the future.

It's too funny that you got my returned Sheri's Screamers. ENJOY!!!
It's funny because I had contemplated buying the Edisons but thought they'd be too big for me.
In hindsight, I think they would have been more me than Sheri's Screamers, but I love how you had them strung to 17" instead of 18".
I never would have thought of doing that, but I love how they lay on your neck.
I've since written PP and told them to keep me in mind if they come across some more Edisons.

In another funny return, I had also ordered the peridot Finestrino souffe' pendant that BAS now owns. It was beautiful, but it didn't suit me. I was thrilled to see BAS's photos of her wearing it with her new pistachio akoya tin cup necklace. It looks much better on her than on me. I didn't mention it before, because I thought it would be weird. But since you've already caught one of my returns, I thought I'd fess up.

When I order anything, I always return it the next day. I know right away if it's me or not.

BabyNurse beautiful selection of white pearls, I especially love the soufflé ring. You did very well last year!

Thanks for sharing, BabyNurse. Gorgeous whites you've got there!

Heh, about returning pearls right away, I recently ordered a (custom made) rope, 48 inches, no clasp, PP 6.5-7.0 mm metallic white freshwaters, AAA. I had contacted PP to discuss an exchange because they were a bit off-round and just didn't wow me. But then I decided to wear them out to dinner and wow! They popped under the restaurant lights and even the streetlights and I'm defo keeping them! I guess they just don't like to stay home :)

BWeaves-- hilarious!! I ended up with your strand, BAS ended up with your pendant. What a small community we live in!

Kelluvpearls, thanks! 2015 was a great pearl year. I have cherished pearls and pearly memories from the previous years as well

Thanks for the extra photos BN -- so helpful to see everything together. You have quite a collection of white beauties! The Burmese WSS are perfection. While the Edisons don't quite match that quality, it looks like they come close, and at a significantly lower price point, I presume. I was drooling over the WSS drop strand you bought during the sale because of the iridescent rose and silver overtones. So you returned that strand in favor of the Edisons?

Those family photos are great. The baroque akoyas look so pink in the photos. It's funny, I don't think mine look nearly as pink in photos.

Anyway, I am almost blinded by all that luster put together. They are all gorgeous. What an amazing collection you have.

Sea Urchin, I've had the same experience! I'm certain that I'm returning a particular strand and then catch a glimpse of them in the right lighting. The rest is history!

Katbran, thank you!

Kay, thank you for the kind words!

Jersey Girl, hehe-- I want a golden one as well!!
