I had my original 26" strand made into a set because I NEVER wore it! The length was awkward on me. Now, I love love it and I have a pair of earrings from the strand, too!

I love the hanadama set more each time I see it. Having pieces that make you happy to wear them and get worn often because of it is a beautiful thing.

I have about as many "reds" in lipsticks as pearl pieces, and I'd love to see yours!

I thought, "You want to break your lipstick into little pieces and wear it around your neck?" Then the DOH! moment, and I realized you meant a thread with a different lipstick every day. I haven't drunk my tea yet. Give me an hour and it will all make sense.

Don't feel alone, BWeaves .... I thought the same thing LOL ... must be the holiday haze :) And thank YOU, TheSeventhSphinx, for bringing clarity to our haze ... I think the lipstick is a delightful post idea!

A lipstick thread would be fun... To someone who only wears lip gloss, it sounds very glamorous...
 
A bit late but that fireball is beautiful!!! Reminds me of the goldfish with the really long wavy tails that my grandfather used to have. They were so graceful and shimmered in the light.

And your hanadamas are tdf. I guess all hanadamas are, huh? They are so reflective and look stunning with the pink turtleneck! So sweet of your teaching assistant to make you a set of pearl earrings! She's noticing your collection!!! YAY!

I can not tell a lie. This is not the set I wore to school today. I forgot to snap a picture. This is what I wore out to dinner tonight, instead:

"Out to dinner pearls" will do just fine BAS ... especially lovely ombres :)
