Always happy to contribute in some way to my favorite forum! My fingers are still itchy, but I'm dying to know why the brooch was pulled from the auction. My own guess is that it'll go to one of the bigger houses for sale. It's certainly a mystery! Today I was at the MET and then walked down Madison, so I decided to go in Fred Leighton (I was not their desired customer to be sure) and the only other shopper in there was Christine Baranski (The Good Wife), who was actually shopping as apposed to gawking and drooling and incoherently ooooooohhhhh-ing!
