These are 9-10mm smooth Tahitian drops for the PP Blossom setting (yellow gold). I am not good at translating photos to real life so help is much appreciated. Also, he said this is all they have in smooth drops. But I could go to circle drops, I think, if y'all think I should keep looking. I want them to be dark, not grey. Thanks!

1 and 3 look lighter to me, 2 and 4 darker, but 2 looks like they are better matched in color than 4.
3 looks like the best match overall for color, size and shape.

I suggest you ask for another, more close-up shot of 2 and 3. Maybe 3 isn't really lighter, in which case I recommend that pair.

Thank you!

ETA: I asked him and waiting to hear.

On that sheet I like 5 best.

They have a pleasing shape, are well matched for size and shape and are a bit darker than some of the others.

Thanks, PD. I agree with you on #3 from the first batch, I think. I've asked him for a pic of them with the yellow gold blossom setting. I think it will bug me if the pearls aren't a very close match, even though I know it's probably not very noticeable on opposite ears.

Here's #3 from the first set of choices, shown with the yellow gold blossom setting. Thoughts?

All right, I'm getting them. Never thought I'd think of pearl shopping as work but I'm getting tired!

I'd vote for #3 in the first group also.
#2, 3, 4, or 5 in the second group.

but! My dear, you've already chosen. Still, you are exhausted! (Hands folded on top of the desk, leaning forward) Please, allow me to help you, relieve you of this burden. For a mere twenty dollars, I will accept delivery for you, whisk them away! These will never trouble you again.

Tahitians on the blossom setting ... What a grand idea ... Just perfect :)

I thought it would be especially nice to have something a little tropical to go with my dark winter clothes. I am a summer person and winter just brings me down. So when you think about it, it really is therapy, quite necessary. You northern ladies could probably get a pair then send the bill your health insurance company. :p

Oh, if only that were so... Short days and cold are tough. If we have snow that sticks to the ground it'll reflect light and make it bearable...pearls are definitely a pleasant diversion. Clever idea, though ;-)
