Paua pearl pendant in18k white gold RIMG0034.jpg

Hi, Did you see my article for Japanese Pearl Connoisseurs in New Jeweller Magazine that went to most people at the show? Tom Stern

Hi, DrTKStern
No, I didn't. I'm pretty out dated about foreign sources nowadays except this forum. Is there anyway I can see the article?
I've tried to search on internet though I couldn't get through.

Thanks for posting the lovely pendant. That pearl is speaking to me! :)

HopePaua, that is a wonderful pendant and it gives me some very welcome ideas for some pearls of ours. Thanks for posting.

HopePaua,

Missed this post earlier, love this graceful pendant! What is the size of the pendant and pearl?

Dr. Tom, Do you have a link to the article?

Thank you both.

Hi, Not yet; but I will post a link once I have permission from the magazine. Tom

Thank you for compliments everybody.
The size of the pearl is 0.79ct and it's about 1cm length pearl and pendant is about 2.5cm. They did great job. I'm glad that give you some idea of how it set to make jewelry. And thank you Dr. Tom, I'm looking forward to see the article.

I would wear those in a heartbeat! The settings cleverly accentuate the pearls.

Pendant design is too fussy for me, although the pearl is pretty. But I "heart" the earrings, design and pearls. Thanks for posting.

Hopepaua, the pearls look wonderful in these FINE JEWELLERY creations.
That is the great thing about Abalone Pearl,
looks great in contempory pieces
and fine pieces of jewellery. Well done.

Me three. Nozomi is a really beautiful name. Good to know it.The diamonds turn into water reflections and drops around the pearls

This quote has inspired me to encourage members to put their
Fine Jewellery or Contemporary pictures of pearls on the forum.
These are pearls made into Contemporary Jewellery - but I could
wear Nozomis Earrings any day.Contemorary.jpg

Nozomi's work is lovely indeed. Likewise are these contemporary pieces.

Not all pearl works need to be dainty and as such, I really like the heavy cords on the pendants.

Quite appropriate for men.

And I must say that all these fine jewelries were designed by Gem International and made by M which is one of the best craftsmen in Japan.
