Hello PG and here are some of my pearls...

Bernadette, Caitlin, Wendy, thanks for your concern and help.
I'll probably go for simple soap flakes without any extra additives.

What kind of soap are they made of? Does it makes a difference except that flakes are more efficient?

Luxe is an Aussie brand? We used to have Ivory Snow soap flakes up here, but I can't remember it on the shelves at the present. We can buy liquid castille soap. My preference, Dr Bronners (unscented), is easy to find.

Pattye, remember your keshis? Here they are. ;)

The baroques are from Inger (rainbowislandpearl).

Thank you ladies.
I received those keshis from Pattye a long time ago and had no idea what to do with them. The colors are incredible. I remember that Sarah once had three strands of those too.
The baroques just helped.
I like to play with shapes, colors, and textures.
The piece turned out nicely, but it's not a great work of art...... ;)

Why not? It has spectacular pearls and a creative design- I think that it is a showcase for such rare and beautiful pearls, they make it art. I just don't call the round pearls art in the same way.

Your piece almost looks like it could be ancient. Do people comment when you wear it?

It is lovely, and perfectly balanced. I agree that it evokes an ancient aesthetic.

I've enjoyed looking at this piece and judimcc6's beautiful earrings for Sarah C. over in the Kojima Pearl thread.

It's been the sort of day when the opportunity to admire beauty, artistry and craftsmanship has been a welcomed respite. I've looked at both of these pieces at least four times today - so far!
