Oh, Linda. YOU got THAT necklace. I was drooling over it and the Tahitian version for a long time.
Going to Dad's today in blues. Intense BBA earrings from PP. BBA ring from Takahashi. It's my souvenir from the Japan pearl farm trip. BBA pendant and necklace of graduated BBAs and tiny white keshi from Takahashi PP Live event. Natural white Hanadama rope. I love wearing these together. I think the white pearls make the blue pearls look bluer.

Those pearls are simply awesome on you Berna! After seeing that $1,000,000 SS strand on the last PP/Assael live, I had to wear my 13.6-14.3 mm freshwater strand from Kojima that was a fraction of the price, but gives me the same joy. Baroque freshwater drops on my Mom's earrings. Drops from Pearls of Joy.

And I love your linens!Happy Thanksgiving! Taking Dad to my brother's house for Thanksgiving. All I have to cook is "show up."
Planet Berna Tahitian pendant and Bali earrings from Kamoka Pearl. Longer Tahitian bubble ombre' necklace from Kojima Pearl. TNT (Tahitians and tourmalines) circled pearls necklace from Ocean's Cove on Etsy.
Handwoven Zanshiori shawl in Tencel yarn. Zanshiori means "mistake weaving" in Japanese, because you're not supposed to weave with knots in the yarn. However, I take the loom waste (the yard long threads that cannot be woven at the end of a project) and tie them all together and use them as weft (the side to side threads) on a different warp (the up and down threads).

Where were you traveling, if I may ask? It helps to know, since official reportage can lag, although I suppose a lag in reporting can be useful to develop statistical trends…Hello pearly girlies and guys! Belated Happy New Year etc!
As usual, loving seeing all of your water treasures! Oddly enough, I haven't worn pearls in a week nowMe and my hubby got Covid travelling back from visiting Dad for Christmas. Luckily we got it on the home trip vice on the way there! Feeling more snotty than pearly at the moment.
This new year, I am wondering how long I will survive on ban island before building a raft but the climate here is nice and there are coconuts (when I get my full taste buds back from this mucus beast!).
I hope each and every one of you have a fantastic upcoming year with all of the health and happiness you can possibly cram in!
