My pearls

Last week I made another sampler strand and I haven't got time to photograph it until now.

I made some more earrings for my huggies from Pearlescence. Changed the rings on the silver tahitian keshis to slightly smaller once.

I also made some earrings to be used with my diamond huggies that I never wear. Baroque tahitians from Pearl Paradise.

Lavender earrings from Pearllunar.

Now maybe I will use those gold huggies.

I think you'll get a lot of use out of your huggies now. I also had several drops made to hang off my various huggies, and I love the look.

Thank you Katbran, I like that as well. In fact I have always loved transformer anything. When my daughter was small I made her reversible doll clothes. Can you use something in more than one way then I probably like it.

Some more photos of my huggies. First my silver keshis.

I also got my new deep golden 11,2mm south sea studs from Pearlescence arrived today. Just gorgeous even though the photo light isn't.

Still no better photos of my new 11,2mm deep golden south sea studs from Pearlescence, but I keep trying. This is my last try. They aren't flawed, they are reflecting a lamp...

Maybe we can visit the summercabin this weekend, we need to check on it anyway, it has been raining a lot. I have been superbusy these last few weeks at work and treated myself to a golden south sea ripple rope from Pearlescence yesterday morning whilst drinking espresso. I did waver a bit between the golden rope or two strands of ice blue south sea ripples but in the end the golden pearls won. It's the ones that Wendy has rotating (they move that is) on Instagram. Such gorgeous luster, In the photos they reminds me a bit about keshis, but big. They aren't keshis but it will be so fun examining all the different pearls when they arrive. That will be a while, there is hardly a bankday these following weeks with all the holidays. Here are some screenshots of them from Instagram, they are a bit blurry since I screenshot the moving photos... The size of them is a bit unclear since I bought them and forgot to screenshot the listing before and now it's gone. I thing the pearls are something like 8-12mm, but I can be way off.

As I read Gemandpearlovers tread the other day I got inspired to make something about my huge freshwater ripples and a strand of colorgraduated sapphires that I have yet to use. I haven't done anything with them yet. Here is a not to great photo of the two of them.

I might make a longish strand of the sapphires and the more pink pearls.
And also Merry christmas.

Merry Christmas!

Always a joy to see your pearls, and creations, beautiful!

So many lovely huggies Charlotta! I love them all but those color changing Edison are special. Next- the baroque SS pearls. Wow! I love the color variations (there's even two that look a bit pink) and interesting shapes in that long strand. Can't wait to see the lovely, colorful FW ripple strand when you are done.

Thank you Gemandpearllover, the colorshifting edisons really are special and goes perfectly with my rainbow strand. I cannot wait to see those golden south sea pearls in real life. So gorgeous. I post some more screenshots soon. I was going to do something with the huge freshwater ripples yesterday, but then I worked on another project instead. I took apart my greenish south sea strand and combined it with tiny ivory freshwater pearls, but then I broke the tread and needle on the last pearl...

Some more screenshots of my new golden ripple south sea rope from Pearlescence. The pearls are 9,5-11mm and a mix of white and golden south sea pearls, the pearlinfo was in my order history so that's good.

The strand is on it's way now, maybe it arrives next week if I'm lucky.

That golden strand looks like it will be endlessly fascinating to gaze at. And the new golden studs must be fabulous, if they are even better than the photos. 11mm is my favourite size for studs.

Thank you Bweaves and SydK, just like liquid gold. The golden studs are amazing and I am at the summercabin waiting for daylight. There is a light frost on the grass here but at least the well haven't frozen.

Better photos at last, only a few hours of daylight this time of the year. First my deep golden 11,2mm south sea studs from Pearlescence. I love these ones, the last week I have worn them with my deep golden south sea strand from Cees, my rainbow strand from Pearlescence and with my frog pendant from Pearlsociety.

The new studs goes really well with my new strand. The smaller 7,5mm deep golden south sea studs from Oceanscove are beautiful as well, but they goes better with my previous good golden south sea strand that I turned into two wavestrands.

Most of my south sea studs, deep golden 11,5mm south sea studs and green south sea studs from Pearlescence smaller deep golden south sea studs from Oceanscove, champagne south sea studs from Tahitipearldesigner and white south sea studs.

This is my work in progress greenish south sea pearls from Kongspearl and tiny ivory freshwater pearls from Pearllunar, I have to remake it since I broken the tread and the neddle on the last pearl. Might not knot between every pearl on the next try. I like this one but I feel that there is something missing. I don't know what. It probably looks great layered with other pearls.
_20191228_161256.jpg
Then I changed my mind yet again about those giant freshwater ripples from Kongspearl. So no sapphires. But they might look good scattered on this rose lavender freshwater rope from Pearllunar that I made a while back and hardly ever use.

Charlotta, your new Golden Ripple South Sea rope is beautiful. It will be so versatile, and I bet you will be wearing it quite a bit. Lovely :)

Thank you AzFlyGirl and Jenny. I think the golden ripples will be very versatile and well used as well. I hope they arrive this week, but both thuesday and wednesday are holidays here so who knows when they arrive. The package arrived in sweden yesterday evening, then the customs hold it for a day or two weeks.... Whilst waiting I rearrange pearls, but since I only have time in the evenings after work, it's to dark to take any photos. I have made a strand and bracelet, that can be combined, with the greenish golden south sea pearls and tiny ivory freshwater pearls and some pale goldeny peach metallic freshwater pearls. I think that it's really pretty, but I haven't seen it in daylight yet. Then I have layed out a rope of big freshwater ripples in pink and peach, golden south seas, small rose lavender freshwaters and peachy copper off round freshwaters, but I haven't started knotting it yet so I don't know if it looks good or not. I used the sunset as inspiration for this last rope, not the very dramatic sunsets one can sometimes see, the more subdued ones I usually sees during the summer at the summercabin. We have a patio where we can sit during warm summer evenings and see the sun set over the ocean. Hopefully it is as pretty as my vision.
