Wild round pearl find. have found what looks to be a rare dime size oyster pearl at bay st louis ms Beach with shiny tip still attached to the shell ive had for years wrapped in fiber cloth still in shell in plastic bag after reading it says its a historical find and big and rare .I do believe that because 10 yrs walking the beach only one ive ever found any thoughts to its value.

@the kidd, I think the value of that pearl is primarily that you found it (how cool is that!). It is a conversation piece.
But commercial value? I don't know about that. It isn't a beautiful pearl, in my opinion. And pearls have to be beautiful in some way to have commercial value. Or so it seems to me.
