What kind of pearls are these??

My dad was a fisherman for several years. This is a small cluster of what he thinks are pearls that he had found throughout the years. Any information would be helpful! Thanks.

Odd looking, but some of them have the patchy look of scallop nacre. Did he fish for scallops?
